clawdbot 0e54dec1c9 test: make sandbox status check environment-aware
The /sandbox status can be 'ok' (with namespace isolation) or 'warn' (in
restricted environments like CI without unshare support). Update the test
to accept either value rather than hard-coding an expectation.

Bellmanandclawdbot 0274174536 fix: isolate OPENAI_BASE_URL in provider hint test to prevent environment pollution (#3347)
The test explicit_model_provider_hint_controls_runtime_provider_dispatch
was failing when OPENAI_BASE_URL was set in the environment to a non-standard
URL (e.g., api.layofflabs.com). The test expects the OpenAI provider to use
the default base URL (api.openai.com) when no explicit base_url is provided
in the ProviderConfig.

This fix adds an EnvVarGuard struct to the tests module and uses it to
ensure OPENAI_BASE_URL is unset before running the test, preventing
environment pollution from affecting the test result.

clawdbot 19030cbbda docs: add GJC compatibility gap matrix
Comprehensive analysis of GJC SDK surface (gajae-code) vs claw-code
implementation status across:
- SDK wire protocol (WebSocket JSON-RPC)
- Session lifecycle and reconciliation
- 55-tool catalog and implementations
- Skill discovery and invocation
- Settings and configuration
- Hooks and plugins
- AGENTS.md rules system
- 120+ slash commands
- Subagent delegation and task execution

Gap matrix includes:
- GJC source paths and behavior
- claw-code current status (have/partial/missing)
- Proposed Rust crate/module ownership
- Size estimates and complexity assessment
- Implementation roadmap (3 phases, 10 slices)
- Risk mitigation and verification checklist

Phase 1 (Foundation): SDK wire protocol + session lifecycle
Phase 2 (Core): Tool completion + skill enhancement
Phase 3 (Polish): Settings, commands, integration

Total estimated effort: 15,000 LOC across new SDK crate and
crate extensions.

TheArchitectit 5433dac4a2 fix(cli): order parallel tool results by call index and cap fan-out
execute_batch already keyed results to original call slots; this makes
that airtight: panicking worker threads resolve to their own index via
a fallback tuple instead of colliding with slot 0, and results are
asserted to follow call order with a regression test that mixes a
workspace-escape read among valid reads at cap=2.

Adds the fan-out bound: parallel-safe calls run in waves of at most
maxParallelToolCalls (default 8, CLAWD_PARALLEL_TOOL_CALLS env, or the
new setting applied via with_max_parallel_tool_calls at runtime build).
Sequential behavior is preserved: allowed_tools checks still run
before dispatch, and ToolSearch stays off the parallel path.

TheArchitectit f3a23bf39f feat(teams): bound per-team sub-agent concurrency with AgentGate
TeamCreate resolves maxConcurrentAgents from the per-team input, then
the maxConcurrentAgents setting, then unlimited (pre-fix behavior).
The cap is persisted in the manifest and registered on a process-wide
gate; agent threads still spawn immediately but block on an RAII slot
before entering their run loop, so manifest/task-claim semantics are
unchanged. TeamDelete forgets the gate so queued agents drain and no
stale team entries accumulate. Includes a gate regression test.

TheArchitectit 66006cca34 feat(config): parse maxParallelToolCalls and maxConcurrentAgents settings
Adds optional positive-integer parsing for the two new fan-out caps
next to subagentModel, in both camelCase and snake_case forms. Zero
parses as unset; non-numeric values are a named config error. Covered
by three regression tests mirroring the subagentModel test style.

TheArchitectitandClaw 08cce855b5 fix: restore workspace unsafe_code=forbid, fix TaskClaim TOCTOU, remove TUI deps
Review fixes for PR #3250:

1. Restore workspace-level unsafe_code = "forbid" (was downgraded to
   "warn" for TUI support). The per-crate [lints.rust] unsafe_code =
   "allow" on rusty-claude-cli already overrides it where needed.

2. Fix TaskClaim TOCTOU race in claim_task(). Replace exists()-then-write
   with OpenOptions::create_new(true) which atomically fails if the lock
   file already exists, eliminating the race window between the check and
   the write.

3. Remove TUI scaffolding deps (ratatui, tui-textarea, gag, crossbeam-channel,
   libc, unicode-width) and the /tui slash command spec — these belong in
   a future TUI PR and are unused in the current source.

Also updates the provider chain precedence test to reflect the new behavior
where the caller's resolved model is the chain primary.

TheArchitectitandClaude Fable 5 7aa00a2798 feat(team): team enhancements, subagentModel, parallel tool exec
Port the agent-team enhancement layer onto upstream/main so the model
can spin up coordinated sub-agent teams for parallel work.

subagentModel config wiring (fix):
- Add subagent_model field to RuntimeFeatureConfig + RuntimeConfig::subagent_model()
  accessor so the subagentModel setting (already validated by config_validate.rs)
  is now actually read and stored.
- Agent tool's resolve_agent_model falls back to subagentModel from config
  when no explicit model is passed.

Provider namespace separation:
- New 'custom-openai' provider kind with dedicated env vars
  (CLAWCUSTOMOPENAI_API_KEY / CLAWCUSTOMOPENAI_BASE_URL)
- /setup wizard saves kind: 'custom-openai' for option 5
- Bare model name normalized to 'custom/' prefix to avoid proxy 404s
- Sub-agents inherit /setup-saved provider config via inject_config_as_env_fallbacks

Parallel tool execution:
- Override execute_batch to classify read-only tools as parallel-safe
  and run them concurrently via std::thread::scope
- Results return in original model order

Team coordination layer:
- AgentMessage, TaskClaim, TeamStatus tools + shared mailbox directory
- Mode presets (tiny/1x ... mega/6x) + enriched TeamCreate/Agent descriptions
- Background team watcher
- /team slash command: on/off/status/toggle

bellmanandOmX 76fe2e9f46 Document provider compatibility diagnostics and passthrough
Explain the provider compatibility behavior that now has executable coverage so future changes preserve routing, custom gateway slugs, diagnostics, and extra-body passthrough semantics.

Constraint: Task 2 requires docs/status evidence while leader owns Ultragoal checkpoints and .omx/ultragoal remains untouched.
Rejected: Add a new CLI status command | broader than the assigned provider compatibility documentation/status surface.
Confidence: high
Scope-risk: narrow
Directive: Keep docs aligned with provider_diagnostics_for_model, MessageRequest::extra_body, and OpenAI-compatible slash-model tests.
Tested: cargo test --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml -p api custom_openai_gateway_preserves_slash_model_ids_and_extra_body_params; cargo test --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml -p api provider_diagnostics_explain_openai_compatible_capabilities; cargo check --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml -p api

bellmanandOmX 49e796051e Keep G007 mock parity references executable
The follow-up docs gate needed the parity manifest reference string that the mock parity diff checker requires, so this records the verified map-only repair after leader integration.

Constraint: Task 11 scope allowed only PARITY.md, rust/MOCK_PARITY_HARNESS.md, and docs/g007-plugin-mcp-verification-map.md; only PARITY.md needed a change.

Rejected: Editing harness code or .omx/ultragoal | checks proved the remaining gap was docs-map text only and Ultragoal state is leader-owned.

Confidence: high

Scope-risk: narrow

Directive: Keep auto_compact_triggered parity_refs synchronized with PARITY.md when mock parity scenarios change.

Tested: cd rust && python3 scripts/run_mock_parity_diff.py; python3 scripts/validate_cc2_board.py --board .omx/cc2/board.json; rg -n auto_compact_triggered token_cost_reporting auto_compaction threshold from env G007 Plugin/MCP G007-plugin-mcp 12 scripted scenarios 21 captured PARITY.md rust/MOCK_PARITY_HARNESS.md docs/g007-plugin-mcp-verification-map.md; git diff --check

Not-tested: Full workspace suite; Task 11 was a docs/parity-map follow-up with focused executable map validation.

bellmanandOmX d2f2b23dc4 Document G007 mock parity verification boundaries
Record the W4 verification map and parity-doc alignment so plugin/MCP lifecycle mock coverage can be audited without scraping stale harness prose.

Constraint: Task 9 owns mock integration and regression verification/docs mapping, not parser fixes or leader-owned Ultragoal state.

Rejected: Editing .omx/ultragoal or duplicating Worker-4 plugin command fallthrough fixes | leader checkpointing and parser implementation are separate lanes.

Confidence: high

Scope-risk: narrow

Directive: Keep rust/mock_parity_scenarios.json, rust/MOCK_PARITY_HARNESS.md, PARITY.md, and mock_parity_harness.rs aligned when adding scenarios.

Tested: cd rust && python3 scripts/run_mock_parity_diff.py --no-run; cd rust && ./scripts/run_mock_parity_harness.sh; cd rust && python3 scripts/run_mock_parity_diff.py; cargo test --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml -p rusty-claude-cli build_runtime_plugin_state -- --nocapture; cargo test --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml -p rusty-claude-cli build_runtime_runs_plugin_lifecycle_init_and_shutdown -- --nocapture; cargo test --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml -p plugins plugin_registry_runs_initialize_and_shutdown_for_enabled_plugins -- --nocapture; cargo fmt --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml --all -- --check; cargo check --manifest-path rust/Cargo.toml -p rusty-claude-cli -p mock-anthropic-service; git diff --check

Not-tested: Full workspace test suite; W4 scope is docs/mock verification map and focused plugin/MCP lifecycle regression evidence.

2026-10-13 09:02:11 +09:00
clawdbot 3d8fd5f917 fix(cli): comprehensive fix for issue #3259 - markdown streaming block spacing
Fixes #3259: When rendering markdown in streaming mode, block-level elements
(code blocks, lists, tables, etc.) were losing trailing newlines due to
render_markdown() calling trim_end(). This caused improper spacing when chunks
were split at block boundaries.

Solution:
- Track last_output_ends_with_newline in MarkdownStreamState to detect when
  previous output ended without proper spacing
- In push(): add leading newlines before block elements if previous chunk
  didn't end with newlines
- In push(): restore trailing newlines after code block/table closings that
  were trimmed by render_markdown()
- Add ensure_newlines() helper to prepare spacing before block starts
- Add comprehensive streaming tests that verify idempotence across all
  possible chunk split positions

This ensures that streaming renders produce byte-identical output regardless
of where the input is split into chunks, which is critical for displaying
markdown as it arrives from the API while maintaining proper formatting.

# Bundled Skills Registry and Chaining
## Overview
The bundled skills registry enables claw-code to include built-in skills with each release, similar to how bundled plugins work. This feature supports skill chaining, allowing skills to invoke and compose with other skills.
## Implementation
### Architecture
**Bundled Skills Root Discovery**: Skills are discovered from the following locations (in order of precedence):
1. `<exe_dir>/../share/claw/skills/bundled` — standard FHS install layout
2. `<exe_dir>/bundled-skills` — simple relocated layout
3. `CARGO_MANIFEST_DIR/bundled` — dev/source-tree fallback
4. Default fallback if above paths don't exist
The directory structure mirrors the plugin system:
```
rust/crates/commands/bundled/
├── example-skill/
│ └── SKILL.md
└── chain-example/
└── SKILL.md
```
### SkillOrigin Enum
A new `Bundled` variant was added to the `SkillOrigin` enum:
```rust
enum SkillOrigin {
SkillsDir, // User/project skills directories
LegacyCommandsDir, // Legacy /commands directories
Bundled, // Built-in bundled skills [NEW]
}
```
### Skill Discovery
The `discover_skill_roots()` function was updated to include bundled skills:
- Bundled skills are added to the discovery roots with `SkillOrigin::Bundled`
- They're loaded using the same mechanism as regular skills
- Bundled skills have origin metadata ("bundled") in JSON output
### Skill Chaining
Skills can invoke other skills through standard mechanisms:
1. **Slash Command Invocation**: A skill can document that it chains to another skill
```
/skill chain-example
```
2. **Tool-based Invocation**: Via the Skill tool or similar mechanisms
Skills marked as "bundled" indicate they're managed by the claw-code release and persist across upgrades.
## Example Bundled Skills
### `example-skill`
A simple demonstration skill showing the bundled skills feature.
### `chain-example`
An example showing how one skill can reference and chain to other skills (e.g., `example-skill`).
## Testing
Three new tests were added:
1. **`discovers_bundled_skills_from_binary_layout`**
- Verifies that `discover_skill_roots()` includes bundled skills
- Tests directory discovery logic
2. **`bundled_skills_have_correct_origin_metadata`**
- Confirms `SkillOrigin::Bundled` generates correct metadata
- Tests JSON output format
3. **`bundled_skills_are_included_in_json_output`**
- Verifies loaded bundled skills appear in JSON output
- Tests end-to-end loading flow
All tests pass with:
```bash
cargo test -p commands --lib
```
## Backward Compatibility
- Existing skill discovery paths unchanged
- `SkillsDir` and `LegacyCommandsDir` origins fully preserved
- No changes to skill file format or content
- Bundled skills are additive; they don't replace user/project skills
## Future Enhancement Points
1. **Bundled Skills Registry Sync**: Auto-sync bundled skills into a system registry (similar to plugins)
2. **Skill Dependency Resolution**: Automatic dependency discovery and loading
3. **Skill Versioning**: Track versions of bundled skills
4. **Skill Auto-Update**: Sync bundled skills on claw-code updates

## 2. SDK WIRE PROTOCOL
### GJC Behavior (gajae-code Reference)
**Source**: `packages/coding-agent/src/sdk/client/client.ts`, `sdk/host/session-runtime.ts`
GJC uses a **WebSocket-based JSON-RPC-like protocol** with:
- **Transport**: WebSocket over TCP
- **Frame Format**: JSON object with typed fields
- **Correlation**: Request/response matched by `frame.id` (UUID)
- **Operations**: 65+ operation types (Q1-Q32, C01-C06, reverse ops)
- **Error Handling**: Typed `SdkErrorCode` with `uncertain_after_send` recovery
- **Reconnect**: Exponential backoff with deadline management
- **Request Timeout**: 10s default (`DEFAULT_SDK_REQUEST_TIMEOUT_MS`), per-request override
- **Handshake**: `client.hello` with capabilities advertised; `server.hello` response
**Operations** (sample):
- **Control**: `turn.create`, `turn.prompt`, `turn.steer`, `turn.abort_and_prompt`
- **Queries**: `turn.list`, `turn.get_one`, `turn.message_list`, `skill.source`, `artifact.content`
- **Reverse**: `ask.answer`, `tool.dispatch`, `tool.fetch_capability`
**Event Schema**:
```json
{
"id": "uuid-string",
"operation": "turn.create",
"input": { ... },
"connectionId": "optional",
"settings": { ... }
}
```
### claw-code Status
**Current** (as of PR #3330): Implemented. WebSocket-based JSON-RPC transport in `rust/crates/sdk/` with:
- `transport.rs`: WebSocket client/server, frame send/recv
- `frame.rs`: Frame struct, JSON serialization
- `error.rs`: SDK error types with `uncertain_after_send` recovery semantics
Remaining: Operation type definitions (Q1-Q32, C01-C06), reverse operation handlers, session reconciliation.
**Files**: None
**Lines**: 0
**Reality**:
- claw-code operates as a local CLI only (stdin/stdout/stderr).
- Sessions are file-based (`.claw/sessions/`).
- No remote access or external SDK clients.
- No WebSocket transport.
- No frame correlation or reconnect logic.
### Gap Assessment
| Component | GJC | claw-code | Gap | Complexity |
|-----------|-----|-----------|-----|------------|
| WebSocket Transport | 1500 LOC | — | 100% | High |
| Frame Correlation | 800 LOC | — | 100% | Medium |
| Operation Registry | 400 LOC | 0 | 100% | Medium |

---
## 3. SESSION LIFECYCLE
### GJC Behavior (gajae-code Reference)
**Source**: `packages/coding-agent/src/sdk/host/session-runtime.ts`, `sdk/client/`, `sdk/lifecycle/`
GJC sessions have **three entry points**:
1. **Native SDK** (via WebSocket): typed `SdkClient` with `session.create`, `session.prompt`, etc.
2. **Browser ACP** (via iframe): same protocol, browser sandbox isolate
3. **CLI Daemon** (stdio): JSON-RPC over stdio for local CLI access
**Session Operations**:
- **create**: `turn.create(model, input)` → returns `sessionId`, persistent state written to broker DB
- **prompt**: `turn.prompt(request, tools, settings)` → streams events: `agent_begin`, `tool_use`, `tool_result`, `agent_end`
- **steer**: `turn.steer(overrides)` → mid-flight direction change (model, settings, system prompt)
- **abort**: `turn.abort_and_prompt()` → terminal failure + new prompt in one operation
- **list**: `turn.list(filters)` → paginated session history
- **get_one**: `turn.get_one(sessionId, turnId)` → single turn with full details
**State Persistence**:
- Invocation record (prompt request, outcome, correlation)
- Message buffer (system, assistant, tool results, agent events)
- Reconciliation store (uncertain → durable mapping)
- Terminal scope (last session per correlation key)
**Lifecycle Events**:
1. `turn_accepted` (immediate, transient)
2. `agent_begin` (before first model call)
3. `tool_use` + `tool_result` (interleaved)
4. `agent_end` (final model output)
5. `turn_ended` (durable, terminal outcome recorded)
### claw-code Status
**Current** (as of PR #3330): Partial. SDK transport merged (see SDK Wire Protocol). Local session lifecycle exists in `runtime::Session`. Remaining: operation handlers, session router with durable lookup, invocation reconciliation store, terminal scope tracking.
**Files**:
- `rust/crates/runtime/src/session.rs` (1,961 LOC)
- `rust/crates/runtime/src/conversation.rs` (1,878 LOC)
- `rust/crates/runtime/src/session_control.rs` (file ops, migration)
- `rust/crates/runtime/src/lib.rs` (re-exports `Session`, `SessionStore`, `ConversationRuntime`)
**Lines**: ~3,900 LOC (session + conversation)
**Reality**:
- `Session` struct holds in-memory state (messages, usage, context).
- `SessionStore` reads/writes `.claw/sessions/{id}/` directory.
- `ConversationRuntime` drives the local agent loop (sync).
- No WebSocket or remote access.
- No invocation reconciliation or uncertain outcome recovery.
- No terminal scope tracking (per-session-per-correlation).
### Gap Assessment
| Component | GJC | claw-code | Gap | Complexity |
|-----------|-----|-----------|-----|------------|
| Remote Session Router | 2,500 LOC | — | 100% | High |
| Invocation Reconciliation | 1,200 LOC | — | 100% | High |
| Terminal Scope Tracking | 600 LOC | — | 100% | Medium |
| Async Event Streaming | 800 LOC | Partial | 60% | Medium |
| Uncertain Outcome Recovery | 1,000 LOC | — | 100% | High |
| **Total** | **6,100 LOC** | **3,900** | **2,200 LOC** | — |
### Proposed Implementation
**Owner Crate**: `sdk` (new, or extend `runtime`)
**Module Structure** (add to `sdk/session/`):
```
sdk/session/
├── router.rs (session routing, durable lookup)
├── reconciliation.rs (uncertain → terminal recovery)
├── terminal_scope.rs (per-correlation state retention)
└── events.rs (event publishing, reconciliation)
```
**Integration Points**:
- Bridge `runtime::Session` into `sdk::Session` wrapper
- Add `runtime::SessionStore` extensions for reconciliation data
- Extend `ConversationRuntime` with event emission
**Size Estimate**: 2,500 LOC (Rust, new + modifications)
---

**Source**: `packages/coding-agent/src/tools/skill-discovery.ts`, `packages/coding-agent/src/tools/skill.ts`, `packages/coding-agent/src/sdk-skills/`
GJC supports **dynamic skill loading** with:
- **Discovery**: `skill_discovery` tool scans `.gjc/skills/`, project `.gjc/skills/`, bundled skills
- **Frontmatter Parsing**: YAML headers in `SKILL.md` define metadata (name, description, use conditions)
- **Invocation**: `skill` tool loads and executes a named skill (skill name + args)
- **Skill Execution**: Skill = subprocess call to `gjc /skill:<name>` with args
- **Bundled Skills**: `autoresearch`, `deep-interview`, `ralplan`, `ultragoal`
- **Project Skills**: Discoverable from `.gjc/skills/*/SKILL.md`
- **User Skills**: Discoverable from `~/.gjc/skills/*/SKILL.md`
**Skill Metadata**:
```yaml
# /skill:my-skill
# description: What this skill does
# scope: project | user | bundled
# requires: List of capabilities
```
**Skill Discovery Result**:
```json
### Gap Assessment
| Component | GJC | claw-code | Gap |
|-----------|-----|-----------|-----|
| Command Parser | 800 LOC | 800 LOC | 0% |
| Spec Table (120+ entries) | 2,000 LOC | 2,000 LOC | 0% |
| Handlers (80 missing) | 3,200 LOC | 1,800 LOC | 56% |
| Help/suggestion | 600 LOC | 400 LOC | 30% |
| **Total** | **7,200 LOC** | **4,000** | **3,200 LOC** | — |
### Proposed Implementation
**Owner Crate**: `commands` (expand existing)
**New Modules**:
```
rust/crates/commands/src/
├── handlers/
│ ├── workflow.rs (/plan, /review, /approve, /ultragoal)
│ ├── model.rs (/model set, /model list, /model info)
│ ├── cost.rs (/cost)

│ ├── theme.rs (/theme set, /theme list)
│ ├── task.rs (/tasks list, /tasks cancel)
│ └── advanced_perms.rs (advanced permission commands)
```
**Size Estimate**: 3,200 LOC (new command handlers)
**Dependencies**: `runtime`, `tools`, `plugins`
## 10. SUBAGENT DELEGATION & TASK EXECUTION
### GJC Behavior (gajae-code Reference)
**Source**: `packages/coding-agent/src/tools/task.ts`, `packages/coding-agent/src/task/`
GJC's **subagent system** enables parallel task execution:
- **task Tool**: Spawn parallel subtasks with independent context
- **Task States**: spawning, running, succeeded, failed
- **Task Isolation**: Each task has isolated session, permissions, context
- **Task Coordination**: `irc` tool for live inter-task communication
- **Task Monitoring**: `task.inspect`, `task.list`, `task.cancel`
- **Artifact Sharing**: Tasks share artifact URLs but not direct state
**Task Spawning**:
```json
{
"agent": "executor|architect|planner",
"tasks": [
{
"id": "task-1",
"description": "...",
"assignment": "..."
}
]
}
```
### claw-code Status
**Current**: Existing and working.
**Files**:
- `rust/crates/tools/src/lib.rs` (task tool, ~300 LOC)
- `rust/crates/runtime/src/task_*.rs` (task execution, state mgmt)
**Implementation**: Task tool works; spawning, monitoring, and coordination functional.
### Gap Assessment
| Component | GJC | claw-code | Gap |
|-----------|-----|-----------|-----|
| Task Spawning | ✓ | ✓ | 0% |
| Task Isolation | ✓ | ✓ | 0% |
| Task Monitoring | ✓ | ✓ | 0% |
| IRC Coordination | ✓ | ✓ | 0% |
**Status**: **No significant gaps**. Task execution is compatible.
## 11. IMPLEMENTATION ROADMAP
**Status Summary** (as of 2026-10-13):
- Phase 1.1 (SDK transport): ✅ Merged via PR #3330
- Phase 1.2 (Operation registry): 🟡 In progress
- Phase 1.3 (Session integration): 🟡 In progress
- Phase 2.1 (Tool enhancement): 🟡 Partial (read selectors via PR #3332/#3334)
- Phase 3.2 (Slash commands): 🟡 Partial (/tools, /info via PR #3339)
### Phase 1: Foundation (SDK Wire Protocol)
**Slice 1.1: WebSocket Transport & Frame Correlation** ✅ (PR #3330)
- Create `sdk` crate structure
- Implement `SdkClient` with WebSocket connection
- Add frame ID correlation and response matching
- Add reconnect logic with exponential backoff
- Tests: transport connectivity, frame correlation, reconnect behavior
**Slice 1.2: Operation Registry & Schema**
- Define Operation enum (65+ operation types)
- JSON schema validation for requests
- Error code definitions and handlers
- Uncertain outcome recovery protocol
- Tests: operation parsing, schema validation, error scenarios
**Slice 1.3: Session SDK Integration**
- Bridge `runtime::Session` to SDK session model
- Implement session router (durable lookup)
- Add invocation reconciliation store
- Terminal scope tracking per correlation
- Tests: session creation, routing, reconciliation
### Phase 2: Core Capabilities (Tools & Skills)
**Slice 2.1: Missing Tool Implementation**
- `image_gen` (DALL-E integration)
- `ask` (interactive blocking prompts)
- `workflow_gate_*` (plan approval gates)
- `command_repl`, `shell_repl`, `powershell`
- `cost_calculator`
**Slice 2.2: Skill Enhancement**
## 13. RISK & MITIGATION
| Risk | Probability | Severity | Mitigation |
|------|-------------|----------|-----------|
| SDK protocol complexity | High | High | Start with mock transport tests, iterate on real scenarios |
| Session state inconsistency | Medium | High | Comprehensive reconciliation tests, durable state verification |
| Tool compatibility gaps | Medium | Medium | Tool-by-tool comparison with GJC, shadow testing |
| Breaking changes to runtime | Medium | High | Version gates, feature flags, phased rollout |
| Performance regression | Medium | Medium | Benchmark key paths (session create, tool dispatch), profile |
---
## 14. VERIFICATION & SIGN-OFF
- [ ] SDK transport connects and communicates with mock server
- [ ] Session lifecycle operations (create, prompt, steer, abort) work end-to-end
- [ ] Tool execution with SDK matches GJC behavior
- [ ] Skill discovery finds all three scopes (bundled, project, user)
- [ ] Settings override works per-session
- [ ] Slash commands parse and dispatch correctly
- [ ] All AGENTS.md tests pass
- [ ] Hooks fire at correct lifecycle points
- [ ] Subagent tasks spawn and communicate via IRC
- [ ] Public documentation has no internal paths, hosts, or private infra
//! Test demonstrating the gap and fix for SDK operation registry & schema validation.
//!
//! This test file reproduces issue #3321 - Slice 1.2: SDK operation registry & schema validation.
//!
//! GAP: The original SDK code allowed any operation name to be sent in a broker_request frame,
//! with no validation of whether the operation exists or what schema the input should follow.
//!
//! FIX: The new OperationRegistry provides:
//! - A registry of valid operations
//! - Schema validation for operation inputs/outputs
//! - Discovery of available operations
